The European Scanning Centre aims to provide the highest quality diagnostic services to both patients and their referring clinicians.

We offer all types of diagnostic imaging i.e. CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Plain X-ray.

All CT and Ultrasound examinations are performed on site and we can arrange X-ray and MRI locally.

The only Electron Beam CT (EBCT) scanner in the UK.
- The unique EBCT design means much faster scan times than traditional multidetector CT (MDCT), even including modern 64 slice MDCT scanners thus very significantly reduced radiation exposure

We all know that prevention is better than cure.

Quick appointments, therefore, reduced waiting times
- We aim to scan patients within 24 hours of referral, although we can often perform CT scans on the same day of referral.
- Same day service for EBCT coronary artery calcium scoring (heart scans)
- Same-day ultrasound service.

Rapid reporting to provide prompt diagnosis and enable swift clinical treatment
- All examinations are reported by our own on-site NHS-based Consultant Radiologists who are all experts in their field e.g. cardiothoracic, gastrointestinal and urological. Our Team
- The ability to speak directly with any of our radiologists to discuss diagnoses and complex cases.
- DICOM images recorded on CD and written reports usually delivered on the same day of referral or within 24 hours post examination (depending on scan type).
- Reports available in the format of your choice e.g. hard copy, fax and/or email. You decide!
